No more Old Trafford draws

It was a mixed month of March then, we weren’t at our best but understandable after the amount of games we’ve played over the season, I think it’s catching up with us. That is not an excuse though, we should be able to cope as we’re Manchester United. Injuries, suspensions are part of it and we as a club know that and we have one of the biggest squads out there. If we want to be competing on all fronts, then we need to be able rotate our players without issues. Of course it doesn’t work like that, but hopefully some of our younger players are learning this so they are more prepared next season and going forward.

We’re into the Quarter Finals of the Europa League though and hopefully we can go on to win that, but again our performances will need to improve in that competition. The FA Cup was a step too far and we were always going to struggle even before Herrera’s sending off. Oh well, as we start this month at least we have one trophy still in the bag and we start the month in fifth place too. Let’s hope we can push on further up the table, that’s as long as we do not have any more home draws. Not losing is great, but drawing too many is not great.

We try to do all our predictions the day before the match via text or watsapp so we have something in writing. Changes can be made once team news is announced just before the game, but it still has to be submitted via text or watsapp, even if we’re stood next to each other on the concourse having a beer. We’ve all agreed that saying it whilst stood there doesn’t count. No money involved but the winner may get a beer off everyone at the end of the season.
